Abstract

Objectives: To find out incidence of Growing Pains in a General Pediatric Clinic.
Materials and Methods: All the cases of leg Pains were evaluated for Growing Pains with the help of Peterson criteria from 1^st September 2016 to 30^th August 2017 for a period of one calendar year. Details of cases with diagnosis of Growing Pain were recorded. Appropriate statistical analysis was done using online statistical applications.
Results: The incidence recorded was 2.5 % for the study year. The mean age of the patients was 6.9 years and mean duration of pain was 10.3 months.
Conclusion: Incidence of Growing Pains in the General Pediatric Clinic was 2.5% per year.
